In a recent survey on the “Top Resort” internet platform, the Skiwelt was placed 4th best in a list of 4000 skiing regions worldwide!

A new 8 seater gondola, the “Skiwelt-Kitzbüheler Alpen” lift, planned to be completed for Winter 2008-09, will complete the final connection in the Skiwelt between the resorts of Brixen and Westendorf. As Westendorf is already connected to Kirchberg (in the Kitzbühel region), by the Ki-West gondola, this new lift will connect the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental to Kitzbühel-Kirchberg. The entire region, known as the “Kitzbüheler Alpen” will then be one of the three largest interconnecting ski resorts in the world, and covered by one lift pass, the “Kitzbüheler Alpen” pass (upgrade on the Skiwelt lift pass).
